ABOUT ME
Hey there! I’m Krystie, and I’ve been a music lover my entire life. I’ve been a singer for as long as I can remember, I taught myself how to play bass guitar in high school, and I’ve been in a few bands doing both of those things. I’ve got music playing almost all the time, and my superpower is being able to identify song titles and artists within seconds of hearing them. I’ve also done theater and currently host a weekly in-person trivia show. All this is to say that, if you’re a band, musician, or entertainer, I innately understand your craft. This understanding makes me especially attuned to your visual design needs in ways other designers might not. Music is my passion, and I’ll channel that passion into my designs for you, whether it be a logo design, website design, branding/identity design, marketing design, or anything else you need!
One accomplishment I’m proud of is taking the leap into switching careers. I taught English as a Second Language for many years, but felt a calling to do something more with music. It’s been really fulfilling to infuse my love of music, my creativity, and my problem-solving skills into my designs. Another accomplishment I’m proud of is going back to school as an adult and working really hard to earn an associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degree while also balancing caring for my family. When I have a goal in mind, I don’t stop until I achieve it, and this tenacity is another thing I bring to my design career.
Outside of music and design, I enjoy spending time with my family, learning languages (hey, my bachelor’s degree is in linguistics, what can I say?), running, traveling, and indulging in my other obsession: Iceland.
